Fenton indoor season · 2026
The collection moved indoors and began a three-day equipment shakedown on Friday, July 31. This archive preserves that earlier acclimation ramp, clock schedule, and seasonal plan. See the current placement guide for today's arrangement.

Around 4 a.m., water only dry pots and drain. Arrange both tables, start the 40%-at-20-inch shakedown, and record the first sensor reading after conditions stabilize.
After lights-off, install the height-first three-by-four map: +5.11 under A3/B1, +1.18 under B2/C2, +3.93 under D3/A2, and +2.75 under D2/C3. Keep A1, C1, D1, and B3 direct. Then restore the 20-inch LED-to-tip clearance; align the round table at the window end and the wooden table toward the room; secure wall cables, add drip loops, and finish the removable lower-window block.
Hold 40% at 20 inches. Review the GrowCam framing, tissue-test the fan, inspect the lit surfaces, photograph the final riser layout, and log the sensor baseline.
Historical August 28 baseline: the AW200SE was 45% at 18 inches, two E6 Gen2/E25 fans provide opposing gentle sweeps, and P01–P18 are in pot setup 2: three parts Molly’s to two parts perlite by volume. That phase held those settings while measuring the first comparable dry-down. Seven days is a review target, not a recurring watering date. Keep setup-1 weights historical. Canonical History records the first setup-2 plain Beauchamp's RO soak at 4:22 p.m. on August 26 and Wet weights from 12:14–12:20 a.m. on August 27. Preserve that nearly eight-hour interval; these are not 30–60-minute drainage readings. Start thedilute MSU sequenceonly at the following ready watering.

Height is LED-to-tallest-tip. Natural daylight times are approximate for Fenton; the grow-light schedule is listed separately.
Keep the clock stable through September 20. Monday changes happen before either device starts.
Put it at canopy height in shade, between the tables if possible. Keep it outside the direct fan jet and off glass, Mylar, and wet trays.
About 65–85°F and 30–55% RH is a useful broad observation band.
Investigate a 24-hour low below 55°F or high above 95°F.
If the 24-hour RH minimum is above 60%, improve spacing/airflow and be cautious with cool, slow-drying pots. A brief maximum above 60% is fine; use thesensor-driven dehumidifier rulerather than running it every day.
Keep power and fan strength steady; change only the timer.
