Remarks
These helpers intentionally perform only separator normalization.
- No trimming
- No path traversal checks
- No collapsing of duplicate slashes
Callers should apply any additional validation/normalization rules that are specific to their domain (cloud object keys, filesystem paths, URLs, etc.).
